Where I work, play and live

The Village of Anmore is a semi-rural community of approximately 1400, many of whom live on 1/2-1 acre parcels.   It is home popular to Buntzen Lake and numerous nearby hiking and biking trails.  The focus of the Village is to create a welcoming environment for all residents and visitors, by engaging our community through small events that bring neighbours together.

Belcarra lies northwest of Port Moody and is accessible by a single winding paved road or by water. Belcarra is the only community in this area that is not growing substantially. While the small neighbouring Village of Anmore has grown and changed, Belcarra has remained a relatively small community. This is a result of small land area and zoning for single family residential homes. Many residents in Belcarra have private docks and boats.

Port Moody, the "City of the Arts" has an urban appeal with small town feel, offering something for everyone.  Hike or bike one of our trails, picnic in Rocky Point Park, kayak on Burrard Inlet, or get to know our heritage and culture by visiting the Port Moody Station Museum or the Port Moody Arts Centre.  In recent years, Port Moody is on the map due to the ever-popular Brewers Row.
